Accepted!
Sami has been accepted to BYU Provo! There were a lot of people that said she wouldn't make it in as she didn't have a 4.0 and she didn't take enough AP classes....but they were WRONG, and she did make it!! We are very excited for her...now please pray she gets some scholarships! We've spent a lot of time applying for them. I know now why they say it is like a parttime job when you apply for scholarships. It is amazing the work it entails. She went to a baptism this morning and was home by noon. She worked from noon to 5:15 - solidly. She must have typed over 1000 words in the different essays she needed to write. I was her editor...and her writer's block breaker...and her cheerleader. I love you Sami! I know you'll do great!

Preparing for college, applying for college, surviving applications for financial aide and scholarships, requires great reserves of fortitude. I have NEVER jumped through so many hoops in my LIFE. And don't throw anything away, because you go through it several more times before it's all over, and talk to 50 people in 20 departments. If you ever prayed for patience you're going to get your chance to develop it now. Beside that, CONGRATULATIONS!!
tell sami congratulations! that is great news.... now the hard part, deciding where to actually go! :O)
That is so awesome! BYU is tough to get in to! Sami should be so happy with her work. Go Sami!
